It was an overall easy process, but it was also questionable. There was no real application process. I just signed up for an interview. It was just three to four questions from what I remember, mostly asking me if I was ready to work immediately.

Virtual. The link they email out takes you to a Google Meeting videocall waiting room where some of the screens of the interviewers and other interns are visible. Everyone is muted, however, and a shared screen gives instructions on how to wait. The instructions ask you to wait your turn to interview until a message in the chat calls you out by name and gives you another link to join a one-on-one videocall with the interviewers.
My interviewer was friendly and asked a list of basic questions like, Do you have secure internet connection, Are you available for the duration of this internship, and what's your personal connection to the genre you picked?
