Overall an unpleasant experience. The team took more than 2 weeks to schedule my first interview and postponed it 2 days before the stipulated date. On the interview day, I was not asked any questions related to my prior experiences. I was met with a general sense of disinterest when I tried to steer the conversation towards my skills and experiences. Generic questions were asked and it felt more like a ‘quota’ interview they had had to carry out as part of their internal policies. 1 week after the interview, I received a rejection email. Followed up with both HR and the Manager for some constructive feedback but was not given any response. Was really excited to be given the opportunity to interview with Orsted, but the interview - although largely amicable - left quite a bitter taste in my mouth after.

I was invited to the first round interview. During the interview, there were only the hiring manager and interviewee, no HR representatives. The interview started with an introduction about the team and the company by the hiring manager. And then the interviewer asked questions about the interviewee's background and experience.
