    Great team, outstanding vibe, amazing work environment, motivated people works here. Career progress moves fast and your impact is considered. There are several initiatives to keep continuous feedback and in general the company feels as if you are working with your school classmates all the time.

    Beekeeper is a company with open communication internally. You can be open to be yourself.

    Svantaggi

    As in every environment where you work with motivated people, competition may frustrate you. However, it is part of the game.

    Beekeeper is a dynamic company organism (from biology perspective). It tends to re-invent itself if things do not go well.

    For example, we move from working in teams by domains, later reorganize in Swarms across different teams, later combine functions. This actually great but some team leaders or managers lack the managerial skills to cope with that.

    This lead that some of the co-workers live in the limbo, where there is not feedback provided or regular supervision, even not a clear career path.

    In those conditions, you must be proactive to make your work shine. (This is not easy if you look for a normal desk job.)

    Consigli per i dirigenti

    Promotions happen fast from an engineer to a tech lead or from a sales to sales manager. However, they are promoted because they are really good doing their job but now they have to manage people as well and most of them are not prepared for that. Then managing people in a dynamic environment with no managerial skills may be chaotic and some managers forget basic skills like provide feedback, be a leader to inspire and not a boss to give just orders.

    Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Beekeeper (Zürich (Svizzera)).

    Colloquio

    - HR call
    - Technical interview (one question, you have to know your data structures and the complexity)
    - Technical interview with 2 rounds. First round was a Java code, I was not read for it because I had studied a lot my bases and not high level Java (I failed the first one so no access to the second one)

    The process was great !
