Colloquio

The interview was conducted with one person over Google Hangouts. This person was in Poland (I'm in America). The interview itself was not unusual or difficult. It was pretty straightforward, and the person I spoke to was very good-natured. However, Brainly never got back to me!

After the interview, the person I spoke to said they'd get in touch in a week. Well, it's been almost three months and I never received a word back from anyone so I'm assuming I didn't get the job. I checked my spam folders, my voicemail just in case they called me, but to this day, I've gotten nothing back. If the tables were reversed and I as the prospect employee were to promise a response in a certain timeframe and did not honor that promise, I would be deemed "unprofessional," regardless of what my excuse could be. Such behavior would make me look bad. I think it's time that employers apply the pretty strict criteria they apply to their employees and prospective employees to themselves. Forgetting someone you went out of your way to speak to for 30 minutes from Poland is unprofessional and is a strong indication of how Brainly is run. If I didn't qualify for the position, just send me a short message. It's that simple, and I'd understand. But based on what I saw of the Brainly site and the interview process, I'm starting to think that maybe I dodged a bullet...
