Lavoro a tempo pieno presso TIMWETECH (Più di un anno)

    Vantaggi

Good work environment, you will find young and very talent people. You will be in touch with new technology such as Apps, Web sites and others. The company scructure is flexible which allows you to have a lot of freedom to make the decisions in your projects and also to speak with the top management easily. Overall the managers of the teams are good and flexible people. Overall my job was really interesting and i developed a lot of cool projects and services.

    Svantaggi

You have to work 9 hours a day (not 8 hours plus 1 lunch our), there is no flexibility in the work ours at ALL. The work in the marketing area is more operational than "pure" marketing. There is no privilege for the employees - no free coffee, a christmas gift, a work free afternoon before a holiday - anything but free fruit once a week and your bithday day off. The Human resource department has no respect for the employees: most of the workers don't have their contract sign or never saw it; there is always errors in payment; you can never count on them to solve an issue because nobody is going to answer you e-mails ou skypes; they don't take your advices to improve the company seriously. The company doesn't have any ambiental concern: the coffee machine (that you have to pay) use plastic cups; the air condicioner is always in the maximum cold and they don't recicle! The kitchen area don't have any conditions: there is a lack of tables to eat, there is not enough microwaves. Overall the IT's that work in this company are very limited and lazy: they try to trick you saying that some projects can't be done because of technology limitations but it's actually not true (there is 3 or 4 IT's that are really good but that's it). The internal platforms you use are old and outdated. You are ask to make fake positive reviews in glassdoor

    Consigli per i dirigenti

Appreciate the GOOD employees and stop abuse from them! Instead of that reward them. Get rid of the bad employees. Simple

    Colloquio per Java Developer

Candidato anonimo a colloquio a Lisbona (Portogallo)
    Nessuna offerta
    Esperienza negativa
    Colloquio facile

    Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'agenzia di reclutamento personale. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso TIMWETECH (Lisbona (Portogallo)) a febbraio 2014.

    Colloquio

I had technical and HR interviews some time ago, and they wanted to know my career experience as well as my availability to work for extra hours. I've tried to know how the projects and teams are organized, however I was told that there is no documentation and their development is "dynamic", as in implementing what the clients tells them to. I've worked in organized projects where there are documentations and organization, and by their description, no wonder there is such a need for extra hours. And they did ask me a few times in different interviews if I am committed to do so. I don't mind a few extra hours from time to time, yet I can't accept doing so everyday just coz there is lack of management.

Also, I've asked several coworkers if they have ever heard of this company, and many of them have heard about it through friends or coworkers who worked there and quit shortly after being there due to too much extra hours and lack of managment.

After hearing so many negative opinions, I've decided to give up on continuing with the recruitment process as there are many much better opportunities around.
