    Colloquio per Java Developer

    Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso censhare (Munich, Baviera (Germania)) a marzo 2018.

    Colloquio

    1. Initial round was with an HR and the Team Lead. Just understanding the job role and you as a candidate. Both were nice people.

    2. The second round was in their office with a so-called "Technical Architect" and a so-called "Scrum Master". The questions from the scrum master were kinda funny, I still wonder what those questions had to do with the job role. On the other hand, the Technical Architect didn't seem to have so much grasp on using Cloud Technologies, so he was only expecting me to answer what he considers to be an answer. He asked few questions related to the problems that they are facing with their legacy code (dealing with files). He was mentioning about files often, and I have no idea why we need to keep all user data in the form of files. I felt like it's the legacy code, and the answers were expected to fix only that and I wasn't expected to give a different solution!!
In the end, it was a total waste of time for me. Surprisingly, after the interview, their behavior changed totally and the politeness vanished in minutes. They themselves started discussing about some of their meetings, with me saying "thank you". Overall, it wasn't a good experience.
Nevertheless, I already have 3 offers, I thought of trying here as the Glassdoor reviews are very good (which I am doubtful about now).
My advice is that be aware of the legacy code that you will be fixing, then only think of trying.
