6yWe sincerely regret to hear about your perception. We are working hard to develop our company around our values, but we understand and accept it would take time, and it may not be for everyone. Since we rebranded the company and redefined our mission and vision in 2018, we have established new ways of onboarding people and we have an extensive engagement calendar with a broad range of company-sponsored activities such as wellness clinics, family picnics, 5k runs, birthdays, baby showers, and holiday celebrations, to name a few. The enthusiasm, passion, and feedback expressed by our people in their participation has shown us we are on the right track.
We also recognize we pay people differently, according to the market and based on their skills and contributions. We have improved all benefits in 2018 and 2019, and we have increased wages for our general employees above the US average. It is in our plan to continue on this journey and be as competitive for talent as we can, looking into our total rewards package. We also track employee turnover in all our airports and corporate office, and we are proud to say we have reduced our numbers in 2019.
We understand that sometimes it is difficult to capture the big picture when it comes to a company as complex and diversified as ours, so we encourage you to contact HR, your line manager, or send us your questions and concerns anonymously if you prefer to do so. Again, we thank you for sharing your comments and hope to have provided some clarity.
