difficult to know schedule one day to next. Sometimes didn't work for weeks at a time.

I love flagging! I enjoy working with a diverse group of contractors in a high paced environment; and with A+ I got to do just that… for a while.

In the last few years this company has gone from being the go to shop for flaggers on paving and other public works projects (mostly prevailing wage work), to the primary subcontractor for a utilities company (private pay for flaggers @ $20 an hour). While it is none of my (or as we are often reminded) any other employee’s business why this shift has occurred, it has impacted employees ability to survive on the current limited wages and cut hours. Morale is low and their has been a constant culture of conflict and complaining among fellow employees. Most of the competent employees have sought work at other flagging companies, and seem to be thriving; finding plenty of PW flagging work and supportive cultures in their new workplaces. At this time, I would not recommend this company, even as a learning opportunity before moving on.
