Vantaggi
Full of opportunities across the whole group, and easy to set plans to move into a different role within the organisation if you so wish. Staff here tend to have worked for AXA or a previous company since taken over by AXA for a long time. They are friendly and very knowledgeable and the people make AXA a good place to work Benefits are very good. Salaries themselves are not market leading, nor or they too low. But with additional benefits, depending upon your grade are very good and a generous bonus scheme and share schemes too. Recently started investing in bringing in apprentices into the organisation and across different departments. This has proven successful so far and a great initiative to bring in younger staff who are keen and ambitious.
Svantaggi
A complex organisation with far too many senior leaders, all with differing views which causes conflicts and does not ensure the most efficient business model and decisions being made in the overall interest of the organisation - depends who has the loudest voice, or that is the perception. Some times more than one project running at the same time, delivering the same solution with different tools. No communication or basic understanding of why this is costing the group money. No willingness to stop mid flight despite knowing a better solution is available elsewhere. In some areas of the business, the leadership simply do not listen. they proceed with their own objectives, despite people raising concerns with what is being proposed and reasons offered to support any challenges.
