This post could go on forever and a day, but here are my highlights: - Should have run the other direction when things started going sideways when they made me an employment offer, they couldn't even get what they were offering me straight between the sales dept and HR - Waste of time 6 month training program - Went through 15+ direct managers in fewer than 7 years (in the same position) - Constant change in territories - Literally no improvements to the software offerings during the entire time I worked there - They just keep buying up their competitors only to run those products into the ground - Worst customer service/support I have ever seen in my life - Horribly immoral billing (and other) practices - The founder was a walking sexual harassment law suite who couldn't keep his eyes or hands off young female employees. I was told by a manager at one point that, yes he does seem to have a weakness in that area. I should have gone to HR that day in addition to a lawyer. - At one point I started refusing to be alone with the sales operations manager in a room with the door closed - Was lied to about pay expectations on more than one occasion - Only received an annual review 2 out of 6 full years of employment - Had to explain to the controller that the company was responsible for their part of my taxes when for some reason they decided to cut me a check without any taxes taken out, ended up with a 1099 and a huge mess in my taxes - No company credit card and expect to travel and host dinners $2K and more. There were times when I had to decide if I was going to do my job and pay my personal bills late or wriggle out of my responsibilities at work and make my rent payment on time.

They have strong products with a strong reputation in the industry. The people are supportive. The benefits are good.

Lots of potential across their portfolio. Standard benefits. OK work/life balance (if you're remote). Very interested in creating a culture of improvement - but not necessarily innovation like you'd expect at a software company (See Cons).

Svantaggi

Parent company is way too involved and tries to run this software company like a hardware company (which is most of their portfolio). Aging tech and design of their product portfolio. There was a very toxic political culture when I was there, but that may have changed. Lots of brain drain over the past few years of their most experience leaders and software engineers. No equity (except for some "high potential" hires and some VPs and above... which creates rifts between the haves, the have nots and management - it's common that a high demand new hire gets equity like AI engineers and data scientists, but their manager does not have equity and has to be able to answer questions about their equity as part of their comp.
