I've had the privilege of working for AeroBase Group for over a year, and I can't help but share my positive experiences. In the interview you will be asked if you can use basic tools like screwdrivers and hammers. In reality you will use saws, power tools, and drill sheet metal with almost no training on using the tools or PPE required when shelves need built or relocted. You will work at heights in a scissor lift and operate a forklift. Alot of this other than forklift is not in the job description (unless this makes them update it) . You will sometimes work with hazardous material and very heavy freight well above 50lbs. I accepted $18/hr thinking this was a Warehouse Shipping position boxing up packages, if I would have known about everything else I wouldn't have accepted this position for only $18/hr. You will also deal with customers and sales people through e-mail and phone calls so there ends up being more responsibility than they initially let on. Hours are great 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour lunch, no overtime required and coworkers are nice and while management are also very nice don't really run the warehouse area well as it is very messy and unorganized. None of my coworkers have even been here a year, everyone seems to leave after 6 Months due to all the unexpected responsibilies you have for the pay they offer.
