WORK FROM HOME FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
Svantaggi
YOU PAY FOR YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK YOU PAY FOR A LANDLINE (REQUIRED), AND HEADSET/PHONE FOR CALL TAKING LOW PAY - MINIMUM WAGE Woefully inadequate training in comparison to the expectations of the job. Also some of it appears to be outdated and inaccurate. The only plus is the training is self paced online except for any webinars you need to attend. Boring computerized narration and much of it not very professionally done/put together at all. Does not prepare an agent adequately for taking calls and performing the job! Skills (like HSN) may have higher hours per week requirements. The website said 10 per week, but HSN usually 20. Working a full time job I often found it hard to get all the hours required during the evening and weekends when I was actually available. They only trickle release hours a day or two ahead every afternoon so difficult to plan your schedule. When hours are released you have to be very fast as available hours get gobbled up in minutes! It ended up not being as flexible for my personal situation as I had hoped. And if you don’t get the required hours in you get a PIN and can be eventually terminated. Ridiculously complicated software systems to use and learn. Tons of glitches and bugs in it. Takes 15 minutes to log into everything just to be ready to take calls. Very little support system. HSN PAL line constantly "closed/shut down". No assistance available if you need it. And when you do reach them either they are rude and dismissive. or just don't know much more than you do. I resigned HSN due to not being able to get the hours REQUIRED by them. I begged to be assigned a new skill several times and after over six weeks no response WHATSOEVER. So resigned completely as I have to move on to other possibilities. Poor communication. If you contact say HR or corporate they will keep you waiting FOREVER for a response. But boy, if they want you to do something you better jump or lose the opportunity.
