Coworkers were wonderful, smart, interesting and hard working. Good use of Azure and cross team communications. Good amount of PTO and paid holidays.

Upper management was very very out of touch with the code base and realities of the applications. Very slow response on critical business decisions, then wonder why the project is halted. Unrealistic expectations on time, functionality and end results even when provided information on road blocks. Measures work productivity by active time on work computer via a background process, and not by actual work done. Slow to non-existent promotion opportunities unless you are manager & VP favorite.

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
