- I was hired to help push the company towards modernising itself to appeal to the digital age we live in. Most of my thoughts and ideas were mostly ignored and then I was asked to do things that we not initially in my job description.
- Blame culture: At points, I was expected to do things that were not in my job description, and it was frowned upon when I objected to do things I wasn't comfortable doing. It's almost as though they want to extract everything out of you, and have the mentality that if you don't work extra hours, they will replace you with someone who is desperate for work.
- When I worked there, I saw many people come and go within 6 months... retention of the workforce is poor, and that is reflective in the environment.
- Most people who worked there seemed to be stressed and close to breaking point....not a good environment for productivity.
My advice to anyone who decides to work there is to look for options elsewhere too...unless they have drastically changed their culture, I'd steer clear of the place if you want to love the job you do. I have nothing against the company, just speaking truthfully on my experience of the place.
