Svantaggi
I feel compelled to share my experience working at ABL to help potential candidates make informed decisions about joining the company. Misleading Remote Work Promise: When I accepted the position, I was assured that I would be working remotely until the opening of the Southern New Jersey office. However, almost immediately and with little notice, I was required to commute into Philadelphia. The meager $10 stipend provided for this abrupt change hardly covers the inconvenience and added expenses. Unfulfilled Bonus Commitment: As part of my salary package, I was guaranteed a 10%-20% annual bonus, which I have yet to receive. Despite numerous attempts to address this with HR, my concerns were allegedly escalated, yet I never received any resolution or clarification on the matter. Inflexible Working Hours: The company's expectation that employees work until at least 6 pm, with no flexibility, is a significant drawback. This is not an industry or professional standard. There is an implicit pressure to work a minimum of 10 hours a day without any increase in salary or the promised bonus. This lack of work-life balance is detrimental to personal well-being. Gender Disparity and Bro-Centric Culture: A glaring issue within the organization is the lack of women in leadership positions. The culture appears to be heavily bro-centric, which may be alienating for individuals who value diversity and inclusion. This lack of representation raises concerns about equal opportunities for career growth and advancement. Communication Breakdowns with HR: A recurring issue I faced was the lack of follow-up and communication from HR regarding the concerns I raised. Despite being told that my issues were escalated, I never received any feedback or resolution, leaving me feeling unsupported and undervalued as an employee. I strongly advise individuals seeking employment to carefully consider these drawbacks before deciding to work at ABL. The lack of transparency, unfulfilled promises, and a potentially exclusionary culture make it difficult for me to recommend this company to others.
