Vantaggi
My manager was amazing. She was the best manager I have ever had. I was given constructive criticism very politely and she pretended care about me. I know that other people in the company did not have the same experience with her. The upper management worked with me temporarily with some schedule changes but nothing permanent. The job was very consistent day in and day out. Expectations were explained and I learned something new every day. I was never micromanaged which was a breath of fresh air. The training did take about a year to get comfortable. Being able to flex my schedule +- 2 hours a day is very nice when something comes up. Very casual environment. work/life balance is good. No one EVER gets contacted outside of work.
Svantaggi
Severely underpaid for market value of this job. Something like $15K below what you should be making according to LinkedIn. So unless you have a second job or a significantly greater income in the house, it’ll be tough. Raises are minimal. Unpaid maternity leave. Management seems to make exceptions for some people but not others. Unless you are very aggressive in asking for what you want, you won’t be able to lateral move departments. This is a VERY small company so there are few places to go. The company protects the people who make the most money for it, at all costs. My manager was very rude and condescending at times to other employees.
