1) For so many assistants being present to help this law firm survive, they sure don't care much about them! 2) No training at all was given to help me learn and grow in my position (they have a standardized crash course training sessions over the course of the first week that was no help in my role) 3) Managers/lawyers you serve do not care about you. They demean you and expect you to knowing everything 3 weeks in. 4) ZERO DIVERSITY! I was the only non-white person in my department and I felt it. The room would cheer everytime an ethnic person would be onboarded. I don't agree with that. 5) They like to screw their assistants over in a very smart way. They place assistants they don't plan on promoting with the toughest people to work for. If an assistant every needs help, they have to conform to the difficult lawyer's attitude. Nothing is done to help the assistant grow in the role. Their constant assurance that they want to help you succeed is not true. 6) Going off of #5, they let snakes who are managers thrive in the environment and do not even glance their way. The upper management knows this but does not do anything about it. You can throw all the beer cart parties you want, but if you let horrible, immoral, and RUDE people within your company get away with things, you will fall...hard.
