Just to endorse what others have already said, this company has two sides to it. Externally, it's an extremely interesting collaboration and does some great work... but that's 100% through the work and efforts of Facilitators and those from the BioPharma industry. Internally, to be part of the company, it's a daily nightmare and lonely battle if you take it on. The leaders are poorly trained, poorly experienced, but if you say 'yes' and don't challenge, you'll be fine. If you want to be part of the 'yes crowd', you may do well here. If you want to do what's right for clients, stretch thinking, offer an alternative view, you'll not fit. The company has a policy of increasing its (already extensive!) profit margins through the cutting face to face meetings - beyond the restrictions of the pandemic, and also by lowering the salary paid per facilitator. Essentially deskilling and lowering pay by recruiting junior/less experienced facilitators. The number of times we've had the 'so what's the value of our work to our clients, and yet still, years later, after many many suggestions, they are still yet to actually ask their customers. either they are afraid of the answer, or because the idea didn't come from the top, it's not relevant. Who knows. Pension and other benefits are minimal at best, despite their claims. The yeee-haaa SMT crowd are either in some form of bubble of their own or really are so arrogant as to not to be able to see where they're headed, but they are the ones heavily incentivised, so you'd be more inclined to 'take the money'. Internal meetings are excruciatingly painful and tedious to be part of. I can't help but feel sad at the direction the company has taken. It didn't have to be that way. Did we offer an alternative view. Absolutely. Did we try to be part of the solution and not just part of the problem? Absolutely. Did they want to promote and pay for the skills and experience, nope, not a jot. Be very wary of the nice 'veneer' of some of the leadership team in particular. If you challenge or suggest they do 'the right thing', expect to be gone overnight as it would seem so many good people have. I was sorry to hear of some of those 'leaving' towards the end of 2021. Many of the remaining facilitator core team appear to be either proactively or tentatively looking elsewhere. As others have said, the systems are poor. Suggestions were made before the latest systems were implemented to prevent them becoming legacy and full of duff data, only to be ignored. Guess what, they're recruiting for someone to clean them already.
