Basically, you’ll be looking for a job in 6 months if you apply here. Either because they will have fired you for not being a “happy” little drone or because you’ll see the light and want out as soon as possible. But let’s start with the basics, shall we... MANAGEMENT - No experience. Don’t care about their employees. Have no clue what they are doing. This starts with upper management and works its way down through the whole company. CHANGE - The company constantly changes things (LIKE YOUR PAY) and they always claim that it’s “just the nature of the job”. I don’t know any other job that changes your salary and commission all the time on a whim. THE JOB - While the actual product is good, the company has no idea how to sell it. They have everyone making cold calls and wasting their time talking to janitors to see if there’s a fit. What they should be doing is targeting a specific market and group of people. CEO - He’s walked past me many times but never once had a conversation with me. Hopefully, if he ever sells the company, the next person to run it will hire better manager. TURNOVER - I’m not even kidding. I just heard that someone walked out again today! Lol. I know two people left last week and one before that. On average I think one person quits every two weeks. It’s insane!!! I was good friends with people from every department and I know that all of them are searching for new jobs and actively interviewing. Even some of the managers are looking! There is at least one manager that’s on the chopping block right now and I think she’s trying to find something else before they get rid of her. They would’ve been smart to fire all the management and start over. When you’ve gone through 100s of employees it’s time to get new management and see if you can keep some employees. Smart companies know that if a department has high turnover and it’s not changing you need someone new to run that department. People aren’t just leaving because the office is cold. NO SECURITY - By the way, you can be their top producer and you’re still not safe. If you don’t conform to the drone mentality they will get rid of you. You’re not allowed to have an opinion. They don’t involve employees in any meetings until they’ve already decided what they’re going to do. If you do say something, even anonymously, you are met with defensiveness and are argued with. I’m sure the response to this review will be no different. If you have read any of the responses to other reviews you can see that the problems are either brushed off by the CEO of he argues that the person was just being dramatic. But if that’s the case then he has got a lot of dramatic reviews on his hands. Anyway, the short of it is you should pass on this job unless you’re homeless and starving. Even then i think you could find something better.
