Little to promote, other than free toast

Someone needs to check the discriminatory practices within the HR team, restructuring of the function resulting in only the Asian team members being removed. There is favouritism across the team, leaders only want non coloured hr support. if you are in the gang then you’re looked after even when you’re a poor performer which many of them are. Poor management capability across the function, leadership not respected by the business and its people. They set the bar for the way people are treated is this business. Nothing works, everything is just flossed over.

Thank you for taking the time to raise these concerns, we take comments like this extremely seriously at Boden. We were forced to reduce the size of the Boden House team and have had to say goodbye to some great team members across the business, including HR, as a result of the pandemic. These have been tough decisions to make and we deeply regret each and every one of the job losses. Many factors impacted those decisions, though race and ethnicity were absolutely never considered and the statement made ‘only Asian team members being removed’ is incorrect. We are saddened that this is your perception and this isn’t the sort of experience we want anyone to have at Boden, so would like to look into the other comments you raised around discrimination as a priority. Their clothing allowance is nice.

Poor management and hr. Clear favoritism of employees. They give people advancements before they post the job position, so the job is filled but they let people interview any way, even though they know who they're hiring. The UK controls everything and doesn't include the US office on many events. Poor management. Lack of direction. High turnover. Miserable work environment with gossip and employees who are so underwhelmed with the way the company is run. Absolutely no opportunities for long term advancement. Not a place you'd want to retire from
