Lots of open positions due to high turnover, lots of opportunity for advancement (also due to high turnover)

People here are *very* stressed out. Decisions keep getting made up the management chain that not only seem to be maintaining this reckless pace of executing client contracts, but to actually increase the work! Salaried employees are coming in for 60 to 70 hours a week and hourly employees are always being asked to stay for overtime. Nobody feels like they have a handle on their workload. I've seen people crying due to overwhelming workload twice in the last 6 months. Whats more all these new hires coming in to fill the spots of the people who got fed up and left are not of quality and are often underqualified to work in biotech if they've ever worked in the industry at all. It seems that hiring managers are just trying to fill the spots of the burned out ex employees just to burn out the new hires all over again. Oh yeah, and the coffee machines only work like half the time.
