Vantaggi
Working here is a great opportunity overall. The job definitely isn't easy, it requires drive, thick skin, and strong work ethic, but for those that can handle the pace, the hours and pay are both very solid. Also, the restaurant doesn’t die down in the summer as many phoenix restaurants do, it stays constantly busy. The team at the restaurant level is generally great to work with, and there is a real sense of camaraderie among staff who know what it takes to succeed here. Everyone helps each other out and hustles hard, it’s gratifying to be part of something so successful.
Svantaggi
The biggest downside is the executive leadership. While the restaurant managers are supportive and hands on, upper level leadership creates a toxic micro-managed atmosphere. They're consistently in the restaurant, rarely so much as acknowledge the staff, and have been overheard on multiple occasions making unprofessional comments about employees. The big bosses could use some reflection on how they engage with employees (including the managers).
