We’re absolutely committed to improving, and we’re very aware that these changes won’t happen overnight. Even so, we believe we’re on the correct path and have taken concrete steps to improving RED in many aspects. Our recent additions to the Board are targeted at giving much greater influence to our technical employees — indeed, bridging the gap between management and developers is one of our highest priorities. This is buoyed by our current change to agile development, where developers are more integrated with other teams and managers.
Our bonus system has also seen an overhaul to make bonus figures significantly more transparent, and as you pointed out we are also reviewing our salary brackets every year to make sure we offer a competitive salary.
Such in-depth, specific feedback like this is always valuable. It’s not always a fun read, but it always makes us stop and think. And not just think, act. Our ongoing transformation is a long-term commitment, and we are not letting that rest anytime soon.
