Thank you very much for your positive review. We are thrilled to read that you share our view of CERN as an excellent workplace environment. As an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO), CERN is funded primarily through contributions from its twenty-one Member States, Associate Member States, and one Candidate for Accession to Membership. Accordingly, as is standard for IGOs, CERN recruits its Staff Members, most of its Fellows and the participants in its Student Programmes from nationals of these countries. There are, however, multiple career opportunities for professionals of all different nationalities and we take great pride in having more than 100 nationalities represented at CERN!
