You will be talked down to like you're a child. Your voice does not matter; management has a god complex and doesn't want to hear it. It's their way or the highway. You do as you're told and you don't ask questions. If you do, prepare to be reprimanded. Their workflow is backwards, inefficient and designed to work you to death. If a vendor can only get there Tuesday, make 25 different phone calls off Google to find one that can get there Monday, even if it's for a single broken light bulb. If a vendor shows up a half hour late for an emergency, it's your fault and it's the end of the world. They probably pulled up your recorded phone call too that they'll call you into the office to tell you about. If you got nothing else to do, they'll probably have a problem with how you organize your email inbox and dictate how you should be organizing it. If you're not part of their social circle, you will be buried by upper management. This is coming from someone who's been at multiple different facility management companies around Long Island: you are better off ANYWHERE else. This place is a fairly new startup that tries so hard to be better than its competitors, that it makes the employees suffer. Most of the people here, including all of the CEO's, are transplants from other facility management companies. Run far, far away. Other cons: 30 minute lunch break, mandatory late night shifts
