Although 90% East European staff, very hard workers and generally good experience. Open to new ideas and support. Good at following directions. Very good packaging line staff and online CCP staff. Regular testing of products. Improving maintenance staff. Very little 'indifference' or 'answering back' attitudes. Helpful with things new to me.

Never met most office staff. Long and 'organised' delays in getting me computer system access. Mobile phone promised never arrived. NO help or even 'direction from Senior Plant Manager who preferred shouting or saying nothing- totally negative and harmful approach. Very hard person to have any conversation with so ended where there were none!. Second NSM helpful about 40% for 3 nights then 'did his own thing- same as he had been doing for 20 years'. No knowledge of the real meaning of CI, Lean, Waste reduction or managing staff. After a few weeks found the whole thing bizarre, unprofessional, self-centred and self-protective. Even as an Interim FCT with 35 years experience- more than any person employed- management not interested to talk, listen, adapt or change. May explain the loss of a number of key accounts? The strangest group of management people I have had the 'misfortune to meet' EVER. Totally biased, unpleasant and NEVER wanting to discuss actual issues of reality even though I wrote them all over the office whiteboards. Could not/do not understand the attitude other than some people had been there more than 2 decades and the Plant Manager had a small group of 'yes men/women' that made him feel perfect in all departments and made new starters or FCT's feel 'unwelcome'. This whole approach was purposeful and calculated and more than once I came close to 'thumping' someone for their levels of ignorance and downright blatant rudeness - need I say more or repeat myself?
