Good pay, hands off management, occasional team party's, a gift card on your birthday. The work is generally pretty interesting but depends on your specific office assignment, though there are extremely limited opportunities for growth.

The company does not really care about its employees. They do small things here and there (like the party and the gift card), but they give raises well below the industry standard, have absolutely abysmal (and outlandishly expensive) health insurance options that you are not allowed to opt out of unless covered by another policy (parents, spouse, etc.). Worst all they will do everything they can to make a buck at the employees expense. When the government is delayed due to weather they tell their employees they need to either arrive to work at their normal time or take their already limited PTO - forcing employees to choose between their physical safety and their pay checks. During government shutdowns the company requires you to take your leave, but will get on your case for wanting to take any LWOP for actual vacations you may have already had planned.
