Nice work environment with friendly people

During orientation they stated that rather than you quitting if its not working they would rather place you into another department. I was hired into maintenance and was having weekly reviews, each time the reviews said i was doing good with 1 minor hiccup during training. Even after a third positive review they called me and said they were letting me go cause its not working out in maintenance without offering to move me to a different department, Are they that cowardly that if they felt you werent performing up to spec that they could tell you during your performance reviews? No, they waited until i wasn't there to call me and tell me I'm fired with stupid reasoning that they don't think maintenance is a good fit for me. What a waste of time job, I would not recommend applying to this place as they will fire you for almost anything or nothing.
