Extremely Toxic Work Environment Working at Chanel was an incredibly challenging and disappointing experience. The company's outdated standards and lack of respect for individuality made it clear that conformity was the only path to success. If you didn't fit the predetermined mold they had created, you were made to feel like your uniqueness was a problem. One of the most concerning aspects of the company was its complete disregard for empathy and mental health. Furthermore, the lack of support and disregard for employee well-being was evident in the way they treated their staff. If you were an individual with a voice and ideas, you were often bullied or pushed out by the management team, leaving no room for constructive dialogue or personal growth. Despite promises of career progression, it became clear that only those who were part of the inner circle or close to management were given opportunities for advancement. Qualifications and skills seemed to hold little value, further adding to the frustration and feeling of worthlessness among employees. In conclusion, working at Chanel was a deeply demoralizing experience. The toxic work environment, the disregard for individuality and mental health, and the lack of career progression opportunities left me feeling undervalued and unappreciated.
