Vantaggi
There were a lot of genuinely great workers that truly were helpful and hands on.The environment was laid back and you were able to work your case loads without feeling micro-managed.
Svantaggi
Choice Legal Group seemed promising when I started, but drastically declined as the years went by. workload and expectations increased while compensation, recognition, employees and respect decreased. There were no training in the beginning on their systems it was "learned as you go". When they finally decided to incorporate training, it was done by pulling large amount of groups into a "crash course"training. This also disturbed your work progress because a bulk of the day was spent on several crash course training There were also several raise freeze for a period of two years. For those who receive excellent reviews, it made working here very discouraging. At one point, Full-time employees were forced to take an additional day off to offset budget cuts. Then, there were the massive lay-offs every Friday which left everyone worried. This went on almost every week for about 2 years. To do damage control, they would host luncheons and meetings to ensure everything was "ok"and shortly after the layoffs would begin again. Regardless of your tenure, a severance package was not provided and they did not pay out any sick time or vacation time you accumulated. Overall, This company expected their employees to be very dedicated to them, yet they were not dedicated to their employees.
