Clients were retained despite toxic behaviors because they were high-paying, prioritizing revenue over employee well-being. During my final months at the company, I increasingly felt marginalized and overburdened, with everything treated as urgent and a sense of being devalued rather than a valued team member. Paid time off policies were inconsistently enforced, often with an unspoken expectation to remain accessible and work during time off. Opportunities for career growth were limited, and upper management lacked proactive engagement, often taking a passive approach and assuming issues would resolve themselves. Additionally, strict adherence to KPIs, coupled with frequent and sometimes unnecessary meetings and trainings, added to the workload.
