My experience during my short tenure of about 2.5 months was challenging. There appeared to be a strong culture of groupism within the team, which made it difficult for new employees to integrate unless they were already part of certain internal circles. Onboarding and guidance were limited. As a new joiner, I was largely expected to figure out processes on my own and quickly deliver results without structured training or clear direction. I also observed favoritism in the allocation of work and brand accounts. More desirable brands and opportunities appeared to be given to employees who were closer to managers or aligned with the internal social dynamics of the team. This created an environment where performance alone did not always seem to determine opportunities. Eventually I was told that I was “not a culture fit” and that I was slow, which led to my exit from the organization. During my time there were also instances where managers made indirect or curt remarks about my performance in front of others, which made the environment uncomfortable and discouraging.
