Great co-workers. Great product. Short interview process.

The Owner/CEO’s reluctance to delegate responsibilities and trust the team significantly hindered the company’s growth. While the interview process was refreshingly short, especially compared to the lengthy, multi-step processes at other firms—it became clear that the company was rushing to hire in order to staff its new Tysons Corner, VA office. Turnover was alarmingly high during my time there, which reflected broader internal challenges. Several promises made during the hiring process were not fulfilled. Even basic initiatives, like implementing sales tools or updating the CRM, faced long delays because the Owner insisted on being involved in every decision, limiting the authority of the VPs. Quota expectations were also unrealistic. Setting targets at twice the industry average for a startup, especially compared to what established companies expect—made attainment nearly impossible.

Privacy is a growing field and while most places want you to have certifications, experience and education in the field, this place will hire anyone; no expertise required. In fact, they won't even help you get training or learn the substantive knowledge. Hard working colleagues who do their best under the circumstances.

Everything is made up; they'll say anything to close a sale. The promises made about equity and pay are complete fiction. You're encouraged and forced to lie to prospects about your expertise and the capabilities of the software.
