Vantaggi
Decent salary and nice offices.
Svantaggi
My experience was marked by unclear expectations, weak alignment, and an environment that made it difficult to succeed. There is an excessive number of meetings with little to no outcome. Decision-making is slow, ownership is unclear, and real progress is hard to achieve. Work-life balance is promoted, but in practice there is an expectation of being available beyond normal working hours. I also experienced internal dynamics where influence and relationships appeared to play a significant role in decision-making, making it difficult to navigate priorities. After around 6 months, I was called into a meeting (which had been moved forward without clear reason) and asked about my thoughts. The day before, I had raised concerns about unclear expectations and working conditions. In that same conversation, I was encouraged to consider resigning. The following day, I was terminated with the explanation of “lack of fit”. During the termination meeting, I experienced pressure to sign the termination immediately and was told it was not optional, and that if needed the person from HR could force me. While going through my computer, for any personal document I was also closely monitored and questioned about my actions. Overall, the process felt rushed and extremely uncomfortable. For a company branding it self om being focused on the humans behind the jobs, there is very little focus on being humane. I have previously worked in some companies with extreme competitive cultures, but Clever is by far the worst workplace i have been at.
