I have worked for some great organisations that benefit from the contributions of employees and in-turn employees get recognized for awesome work. Employees join organisation for good compensation, work, learning and career growth; and the worst reality is iMEDGlobal does not provide any of the mentioned except good package to attract individuals that benefits the organisation. Individuals are hired and then deployed to projects not relevant to their skills. We are not even aware of project changes and informed after being transferred. Company does not even provide basic training to either new joiners nor for employees whose role got changed. Company has frail L&D team which is handled by a person who has no expertise. Most of us who are interviewed are given jd's that does not match after joining the company. After joining, we are not given clear job expectations and thus we end up being unhappy and continuing working only for personal obligations. The company has a huge and sad HR team who are absolutely not concerned about employees concerns. Policies are only in a document and the company uses these policies on case-case basis. There is absolutely none in the Management team who has an authority to take a decision and stand by the decision. Appriasals for employees is a mere joke and even good performers are given lousy hikes. All decisions are taken by Managers of the business and HR folks lacks complete transparency. Sales and Marketing individuals are non-existence for the company also. The recent merger of the company with K&L has created more chaos as there has not been a single individual from K&L who has visited and interacted with employees in the India offices. iMED has grown and survived with single client (read cafepharma blogs). Caution: Do not get fooled by HR and join this organisation, else you will surely regret the decision later.
