Got to interact with many different projects. Was able to get a little taste of everything in the business. Great people to work with. Work that was given to me seemed meaningful and sometimes challenging, in a good way. Good hourly pay for the location. Overall, a great learning experience.

Not much of formal or established internship program as other larger construction companies. Not much field experience compared with other companies. The company seemed understaffed or overwhelmed with the projects they are currently working on so sometimes there wasn't much my superiors were willing to give me because they didn't have the time to teach me or explain what was needed.

The commute to work was pleasant.

There is no possibility of doing management jobs with people above you who lack professionalism. Most of the people in top management have the worst attitude from HR to AR and not to mention Mr. Hickey, vice president of the Southeast Division. There is no room for new ideas. They have a lady in charge of the payroll department who has been doing the same thing for 20 years who does not want to improve and they are all forced to work under her old way. It is a nightmare to work there. I do not recommend it to anyone. I hope to prevent at least someone from experiencing such a nightmare in their professional life.
