Working in HR here was one of the most exhausting and undervalued experiences of my career. The workload was unrealistic and constantly growing, while compensation stayed far below what the role actually required. Merit increases felt more like an insult than recognition — small enough to make it clear employee effort wasn’t a priority. There was little to no investment in employee development or advancement. No matter how much extra work you took on or how much initiative you showed, opportunities to grow were essentially nonexistent. Leadership was one of the biggest challenges.
