Sotto la precedente leadership, il nostro team ha prosperato e l'ambiente di lavoro era straordinario. Persone di supporto, gentili e meravigliose con cui lavorare hanno reso questo un posto fantastico in cui lavorare!

Il CEO non ha gestito bene la pandemia. Black Lives Matter è stato affrontato solo in parte e mai preso sul serio. I salari furono tagliati e le risorse per i cuochi erano scarse. Invece di aiutare gli chef, il CEO e altri dirigenti si riferiscono agli host come avidi. Molto poco professionale. La nuova leadership era così negativa per il morale della squadra.

Flexible schedule: As a freelancer, I appreciate that I can choose which gigs to accept. There’s no pressure to take on jobs that don’t fit my calendar. Professional clients: Most chefs, hosts, and culinary partners are great to work with and understand the creative process, making shoots smooth and enjoyable. Reliable payment: Payments are consistent and on time, which is something not all gig-based platforms handle well.

I have worked in multiple start-ups but this is by far the worst. It is very disorganized with no clear reporting lines. This is due to constant bottlenecks as the CEO insists that he signs every detail off. Yes, it is his company but he thinks buzzwords and cost-cutting makes up for the suffocating culture and weak product. During my time there I saw many colleagues replaced without warning and there is a general lack of trust. When I had to speak to the CEO he was trying to involve himself in all my tasks so there is simply no autonomy or growth. The lack of HR is also deeply unprofessional.
