Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take feedback of both, our current and former employees very seriously to improve our systems. We are worried regarding your concern for lack of work life balance. . Through 5-day working week, flexible work timings, generous paid time off and special leaves (maternity, paternity, bereavement or marriage leaves) we extend our support and care to all our Crimsonites! We even have flexible public holidays so that Crimsonites can avail leaves from a list of public holidays as per their choice and need. In fact, we have mandated some leaves every quarter to ensure that our people take regular breaks from work. We have thoughtfully designed such policies to ensure that Crimsonites attend to their personal commitments seamlessly. At Crimson, we believe in orderly planning of work to avoid any inconvenience or stress. There are weekly and daily scrums to understand individual workloads, leave plans and business priorities which would ensure all our requirements are met. Also, please be assured that we understand the importance of planning and all our new processes are designed after thorough brainstorming with the concerned teams. Thereafter, implementation is done in planned phases. We always strive to create a friendly and nurturing work environment for our people where all their needs are catered to and they get ample of opportunities to grow. To achieve this, all our people are regularly trained to conduct themselves according to our values and culture, as they are our true ambassadors and partners. For the past ten years, Enago has steadily provided the majority of my income. They consistently send me interesting work. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, but I always have the option to refuse without penalty. The project management staff is responsive (available through chat). Payment is regular and transparent, and there is an incentive system to reward consistency and error-free work.

Recently, the workload has become less steady, likely due to changes in the industry globally. If you your edits to a paper amount to less than 10% (or 20%, depending on the service) of the final document, it is sent back to you to make up the difference. Naturally, this encourages the editor to make unnecessary changes to meet the minimum threshold. Sometimes quality reviewers make errors, either misapplying rules of English or through ignorance of what makes for proper academic English. However, they are open to discussion when challenged.
