Loved working here for the work and people: - Strong managers. They will take the hit for their team and do not point the finger - High-level design work shows in the attention to detail of projects. - Great level of knowledge within the office. Very even range of staff experience/age range so there is no gap in abilities in the company. - Amazing Revit library and company standards. - Potential to be involved on large projects for experience. - Very robust yearly review process that is extremely constructive. - Awesome client relationships and other company partnerships. You get to meet a lot of others in the industry of multifamily here! - Company format is group based so you get to know the folks in your group and the clients in that group very well.

Sadly, this company has changed over the last several years continually stripping down the employee experience: - Flexibility dropped immensely. 3 days/wk WFH. Dropped to 2 days/wk. Then mandated the 2 day, Now 1 day/wk WFH mandated day. - Hiring freeze in the northeast offices for a bit over a year (minus a few direct senior mgmt. select hires) but have been losing staff and firing "those who cant keep up" with the pace (direct words from mgmt. email twice while there). Understaffing and burnout in staff. - Removed monthly outings and replaced with 4/yr seasonal outings. Now 1-2 events/yr then blames poor culture on WFH. - Removed additional PTO day at Friday before Labor Day & July 4 . - Removed 3-4 extra PTO days to staff during summer. - Removed flexible hours to use OT from Mon-Thur. as PTO on Fri. Other General Cons: - Very low salaries especially for being near/in Boston. - Reluctant to give more PTO to staff even with seniority. New hires get 2wks. - *BIG RED FLAG* Last year they did not give a raise to staff celebrating their first full year at the company. - Lots of Overtime with no compensation and not doing the requested OT negatively affects growth at company. - Poorly managed projects with lots of missed deadlines. - No laptops. Not willing to fund any WFH equip. Miami is exempt from several of these Cons as they always tend to get "different rules" with several of these policies staying in place at that office while Northeast had them removed.
