I would feel anxious just taking a 10-minute lunch break because they expect you to respond to every Teams message within seconds, and if you don’t, there are consequences. The culture is extremely toxic and cliquey. If you don’t participate in their gossip, they’ll find ways to push you out. Senior leadership is a joke—don’t expect to learn or get any real guidance from your manager or boss, as they lack basic managerial skills. There is also no individual or team recognition due to the unrealistic expectations which will contribute to your burn out.
