Teams were empowered, innovation was encouraged, and decisions were made with care and context. At its peak, it was one of the best places I’ve worked.

After private equity involvement, the company changed significantly—and not for the better. Short-term financial optics began to outweigh long-term strategy. Cost-cutting, headcount pressure, and aggressive performance targets eroded morale and trust. Experienced operators were sidelined or left, and the culture shifted from building something great to simply extracting value.
