I’ve met some of the most talented people ever during my time at BEL. It's also given me the opportunity for both lateral and upward career development . Love that we have a Hybrid remote work environment, we have the most amazing peers and great management staff!

There is room for improvement by adding additional holidays and implementing a 401(k) match.

I have been a full time employee at DiscountMugs.com for about 3 years. I began as a sales rep at DiscountMugs and have worn many hats within the company, including being promoted early on. The company is growing, and being as such it does not follow the normal conventions of larger more established businesses, but it has been growing dramatically in a time where other companies have had mass layoffs due to the recession. My opinions and suggestions are heard and respected, and I feel that I am treated as an integral part of the company. The secret to moving up in this company is simply hard work, focus, and attention to detail. It's no surprise to me that a lot of the nay-sayers and disgruntled employees are also the ones with poor work ethics and little interest in the success and improvement of the company, or even in meeting the basic requirements of the job they were hired for. This company has given me a huge opportunity, even though I do not have a college degree or ten years experience, they have recognized my contributions and given me a fair chance at being a successful member of their business.

Benefits are a little slim. Only one week paid vacation, no 401k or similar retirement options. Pretty standard for a company of this size. This is NOT a laid back job, you have to HUSTLE! If all you want to do is sit around and take a few calls go elsewhere!
