Divisions pays their employees very little and does not compensate for working on call. They defend this choice by claiming they can do as they please since we are paid salary, not hourly. If you would like to move up in the company to make slightly more money, then you have to agree to be available 24/7 no matter what. We receive quarterly bonuses but how much you receive is based on how much profit the department makes so you have no impact on how much your bonus is. DMG also raises the goal posts for bonuses every time we start to make enough to receive a good bonus. Gossip runs rampant through the office with all levels of management talking badly about their employees or making promises about positive changes to the company that never happen. Every change made to the company in the past few years has been to the detriment of the employees. Operations employees have been quitting (or fired) en masse over the last two years and for the last year and a half, DMG has refused to hire any new operations staff. This results in the remaining staffs workload doubling or tripling. It’s not sustainable and it’s causing more operations staff to burn out and quit, worsening the issue.
