Work: - Uninspiring leadership with constant need for oversight at every step; PRD reviews can get very crowded for no reason - Terrible Slack culture. Everything needs to happen via meetings or email. Hardly any async work for a distributed team. - Archaic roadmapping strategies with no Agile principles in action; most initiatives marked high priority and result in spillover - Constant push for certain tech adoption despite there being no true benefit to it and lack of access for certain collaborating teams - Lack of any clear strategy from leadership, which is unsurprising given the focus on smaller things instead of the bigger picture - Worst perk structure possible, requiring communication with a rather barebones HR to get anything done - Terrible hours given the requirement to work across timezones combined with the awful meeting culture - Relatively (Indian/Indian origin) male dominated company with even the handful of women being laid off or leaving the company To future interviewers: - If you're discussing anything in your offer stage, double check that it is all written on your offer letter. Good chance they've left things out and can get away with it since there are no written communications.
