Vantaggi

PTO, breaks, my team, the friends I have made from other stores

Svantaggi

Upper management, the dress code, the lack of care for employees and allowing them to get yelled at and ran over by customers because "the customer is always right"

Vantaggi

If you don’t like being busy, this is a good job for you!

Svantaggi

Boring. Horrible pay. Sales goals will get you fired if not met (but you’re not paid commission). The locations in my state are visited by district and regional managers every single week. They come in, do the fun tasks of the job, knit pick every person working, then leave. They have their cell phones on the sales floor and constantly going off when you’re trying to get stuff done in the office. This company is so behind the times. You can’t wear leggings or comfortable shoes or the majority of the stuff they sell at the stores. You’re not allowed to bring your water bottle behind the registers but get in trouble if you go to the break room to get a drink (I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to refuse water to staff?). Cell phones are prohibited up front and you will get fired if you use them. There’s a disgusting amount of control in this company. Hiring people on is just lies to get them in the door. The regional and area directors in Minnesota will constantly try and send good staff to other locations leaving a store in constant turn over. They had four people fire someone at one point. It doesn’t take four people to do that. It’s insane the amount of power being used to suppress the staff here. It’s hard to want to come to work. 9 hour shifts are considered full time. You get an hour break but you’re there on average 47 hours a week since closing will ALWAYS put you in overtime.
