The benefits were great. From healthcare to 401k matching and flexible working hours. Most of the junior and mid-level staff are friendly and easy to work with.

Management is disjointed and flat. No one seems to know what anyone else is working on and most senior managers don't care. This results in duplication of work. The CEO doesn't provide clear directions to his managers which means they can't provide clear direction to their staff. The offices are leased but often empty, as most employees opt to work from home. The only change in this was during the short time when they went through restructuring and the bank made employees start reporting to work. Management from top to bottom is very hands-off. Thus, there is no accountability for many employees and no basis for which to conduct a performance evaluation. Departmental goals are defined haphazardly and non-annually with little follow up from senior management. This hands-off management has resulted in the failure and/or massive cost-over runs of some international construction projects.
