The organization struggles with unclear ownership structures and a lack of communication around expectations. Performance feedback is often delayed until formal reviews, which leaves little room for proactive growth. Leadership tends to operate in tight inner circles, making it difficult to break through unless you’re in the right clique. The company is top-heavy, with many senior titles but not enough team members to handle the execution work, resulting in unrealistic workloads. Hours are consistently long, and the pressure to deliver without proper resourcing or cross-team coordination creates burnout. Staffing imbalances are common due to little communication between project leads.

- A (mostly qual) research shop cos-playing as a strategy consultancy - Very few leaders and sr.managers have advanced social science degrees (which is odd for a research shop) -If you believe in delivering quality work to sr. clients, you'll be logging some epic hours (never in my life have I seen this many people quit) -2/3 of the work is full of vanilla findings (due to time constraints) -Incentive structure for bonuses influences decision-making that contributes to employee retention issues
