Graduate Business Trainee: Embellished Job Description - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso Eleven

When applying for the Graduate Business Trainee role I was attracted to the excellent progression potential (within publishing - writing, media sales, event management) and was told the role was a graduate scheme. It became clear quickly that the role only had real progression within recruitment/resourcing which I wasn't interested in and made clear from the first interview. I was assured otherwise but even after 2 months I was mainly doing database administration, buying milk, changing towels, emptying the dishwasher, changing toilet rolls and running other errands - nothing like what had been advertised. If I had known the true responsibilities of the role I would not have applied. Great for those who are interested in recruitment but not for those who want to utilise their graduate skills within a challenging position.
