Vantaggi
Flexible work schedule (you get to pick what hours you need, and if you need time off for emergencies they work with you on that)
Svantaggi
No real management. They have people in "management" positions that are completely hands off. By hands off, I mean that they have no idea what is going on. They are either in a different city that's 4 hours away and they are working on separate projects, or they shut themselves up in their office and leave after only being there for a few hours. So if you come to a problem that can only be resolved by upper management, well, you're on your own. There is no check and balance system here. Whatever dev says goes. Especially the devs that have been around the longest. If they decide to work on a project that wasn't asked of them, and they miss something? They wont change it until its requested by upper management (refer to the paragraph above). When the owner of the company was reached out to ask to come visit and help with our problems, he was blasé about it. He couldn't have cared less. There have been times when the problems were voiced outside of the American Fork, UT location, and those who voiced the problems were scolded. If you want a job where you can make a difference and where your opinion is valued, this is not the place. Also, they will lure you in with a nice job title, but then on your contract paperwork, they will change the title to a lesser one. Their pay is not competitive for all of the work they demand.
